WAS using Oceanic, but just converted to Instant Ocean and IO Reef Crystals

 

I've been using Crystal Sea Marine Mix for six months and have been very happy with it.

 

Of course, according to the s-15 report it contains a crapload of phosphate, so maybe I'll be switching.

 

Where do you buy the marine mix from?

 

IQ, and Reek Cystals mix. did some oceanic for the first time on the smaller tank.

I buy my Bi0-Sea Marine mix from www.aquatic-gallery.com ,but I go to the main store to purchase. But you can purchase from www.aquacraft.net on the very top of the page in a red square it says "Here is how to Order"

IO, over 1 year, no problems (that I know of)

 

I was using Oceanic but now I use kent, seems to make clearer water and mixes great.

Well I don't believe the test results , Sorry.

 

I use NSW now, but I used to use IO and still have a bag for emergencies!! Never had any complaints about the IO, its just NSW is free and i can do larger water changes. I do think that my corals have been doing much better since i switched to NSW.

 

Instant Ocean. I like it. My Tanks been up for two weeks and it is crystal clear.

I have been using Instiant ocean for 15 year's it's great!

 

IO since early 90-'s, used to make my own from scratch, but there's no need to since IO came out with their 90's mix.

 

Who sponsored the report? I have been using IO as well with no issues. I also use actual sea water when i can get to the beach for some.

 

I use Bio-Sea Marine Mix. Here is a site where salts were rated through an official lab, from the S-15 report test results.

Study initiated by Aqua Craft and "experts" with vested interest, the S-15 report is years old and has been the fuel for a ton of BB debates

 

Yeah, I did a bit more research. I'm going to stick with Crystal Sea...

 

I started with Kent (LFS recomendation sold ) and had problems with low PH they sold me buffer. switched to oceanic and all seems good, no PH problems.

I wish I had some NSW. but here in Kansas that is hard thing to get. You can get some frome time to time from Pet smart or Petco. They never have more the a few boxes at a time. I alway think I ned to have some in case. just in case something happens .
