Just wondering if you guys think I could plumb a quiet one 1200 inline with the RIO on my bakpak 2 to increase the flow to the skimmer. If so would I need to add a valve for flow restriction??

I know MaxiJet makes nice pumps that can be used on your skimmer. Correct me if i am wrong but i dont think the quiet one has a venturi on it.

some people find that initially especially the maxijet 1200 is too much pump. i would guess the quiet one would be about the same or worse-but as tim mentioned i don't know if it has a venturi. i think the goal should be more air-not more water throughput-if anything less water throughput (more contact time). the key with any skimmer is air injection...
