.......and first day of summer 2025 whilst we're at it......
Good morning and happy Saturday!😎

Up early this get Jen the DD....and to get this summer started off right. Re!e!her as kids, when schools let out.....there wasn't a moment to waste of our precious summer vacations....NO TIME to lat in bed!
("MAN has that changed!")😏

Coffee and CIBMC for starters. Got to hit the.auto supply it store early to return some.extra parts I ordered......then a day dedicated to opening our pool for the.summer.....first guests penciled in for Sunday....you know, tomorrow.Sunday.

Don't forget those pretty little.paper umbrellas in your frozen concoctions....a margarita isn't a.margarita without a.lime.by the way....stock up....ITS SUMMER!😎🤗

......speaking of 'swimming'.......
The end of my day yesterday was spent in/under the creek at work.....about 1 1/2hrs.

A boat with a line fouled prop....to annoying to haul, and my new boss and.his brother that that works with us both jumped in to cut it off....ahhhhh, does my heart good to see THAT.
But at a point I saw they could use.me....no worries there! So the three of us were tag teaming this line and finally got it free.

Hope good things start popping up for all.of us round the Table,
Hack

Gooood mawnin’, Hack, and all of TRT!

thanks for the coffee and the beginning appetizer of CIBMC. I wonder if Kevin knows what that is.🙃

Did I read your second post correctly that you were stuck under water? Let me go check and be sure I read it correctly.

Yep, I read it right. What a frightful Friday you had.

By the way, how did Nate’s truck problem turn out?

Hi Nadia’s today and no rain. Yuck so if anyone’s having rain, please send some of it here, but not a frog-strangler.

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

NO Cath, I/we weren't 'stuck' under the water.....😂......there was a boat we were cutting ROPES off of his prop, and.all toll tuck us about an hour and.a.half played by in the.refreshing water on a 90°f day.....there was no suffering or anguish.....just 3 boys being boys.

And.Nate's truck....was 'fixed' this past Monday with me.having to take the day off at the dealers.
.....😏......well, last night Nate.says.it was doing the same.thing AGAIN!😡

Yup.....when cars get so complicated the dealers can't even figure it out.😏

Out to the pool,

Hack, it’s good to hear that you weren’t hurt or anybody else wasn’t hurt, but it was just a case of three boys out there having fun!

Confound it with Nate’s truck not being fixed correctly the first time. Sounds kind of like measured twice cut once, so to speak.

Late morning all,, of course been up since 5amCST as usual.
Job1 this morning was to tend to an old and new storm partial break of some oak limbs out front .
Using the big Deere ‘a loader bucket to dislodge did not work so nylon sling’s em and pulled em down with the bucket . Took them and smaller storm droppings to burn pile ..
Had pulled out of outside storage and pressure washed some “farm” type stuff ( 72” Deere mow deck/back blade-plow/ gin pole etc etc) pulled both trailers from their spots , to mow under/around and load the above stuff on utility trailer pre consignment auction trip .

Job2 was to lower the back 4-5 acres of field next,,, current plan is to zero turn the front and around the house green stuff and worry about removing the Deere loader and it’s 800# or so of ballast box on the back , to hook up the 3 pt mow deck for field duty.

taking a break/reboot in the A/C’d shop,,,, and will attack lowering the hood green stuff,, and prob call the outside work day done,, and go from there .

back to “work” before my behind melts into this comfy office chair.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday!

Good evening guys! It’s good to hear from all of you, and I hope that Kevin shows up tomorrow. Sure would like to hear about what’s going on with him and his family.

Jeff, that makes me tired just reading about all you did today. Holy cow! What do your doggies do when you’re out working in the yard?

Hack, that sounds like a party right there! Of course I know it took a lot of work to get it to that point, but you had your sites on Miller Lite while you were working on it. Are we invited? Yeah I know, that’s a silly question.

Doug Big ouch on a hornet zapping you a couple times while you were doing your work. I guess if you were allergic to wasp stings, you’d be more excited about it than you appear to be.

We have had temps up to 97 today and no rain! Temps will moderate a little bit this coming week and we’re getting the first rain in a long time and I’m looking forward to it.

Everyone have a groovy evening, settle in and enjoy some downtime, listening to music or watching a movie or taking a nap before you go to bed. 💤

No wasp and hornet stings hurt but different vennom than bees, uncomfortable but not life thrreatining. Still cool and sprinkles but drying and warming going forward. Making breakfast for dinner, I am going to chat with Diane briefly then off to bed. Need to find something worth watching on Amazon since my free trial is up tomorrow, Night all
