Good morning TRT Friends, and....HAPPY SATURDAY! Looks like a full day at the office today, have several boats heading over for storage. Looks like weather will be like yesterdays, not ugly, not pretty, JUST. And of course sleepless over means there's Dunkin Donuts to go with our coffee this morning....just watch your step tip toeing through the dark house getting to them. Hope all are waking up to a day full of grooviness this morning,
Hack

Good mawnin', Hack, Eric, George and all of TRT!

Thanks for the breakfast offerings, Hack and Eric. Yummmm I just bought some pink lady apples, so I'll offer some for the TRT crowd.

Hack - So your customer yesterday didn't know about batteries on his boat? (cath shakin' her head..)

Eric - I bet you were exhausted after your son's game last night. Hope you have some slow time today.

It's going really good! 3 guys in a small room (170 Sq ft ).almost all down and tomorrow grout then Sunday put things back! Note the dogs are SO good! Not a peep from them! Real troopers!
Fantastic, George! We want photos.

Jeff....Arrrrrggghhh! on the forever home canceling out again yesterday.

Got in on line banking payments completed and got in touch with the businesses yesterday, and all is OK. Whew!

And now for something completely different (for me, that is)..This afternoon I'm going to a corn maze with some friends. I'll take some photos for proof. :funny:

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Slow day at Bedrock? Well, just a quick howdy. Just got back from Golden Corral...Pop took us out. Dropped Nate's Cuz off back home, and now shoes are off for the night. Yeah Cath.......just because some folks can buy them, doesn't mean they should have them. Hope all are safe and well, and all the best the night has,

Oh yeah Cath.......Hack's 11 now, and we're gonna be starting with all the classic horror movies.......the Mummy with Boris Karloff, Frankenstein with Boris Karloff, the Wolfman with Lon Channie Jr., ect. You know, the 'good ones' before everything became gratuitous 'blood and guts'. THOUGH, when it comes to Vampire movies, I think hands down it belongs to Brahm Stocker's Dracula. Bella Lugosi just didn't work for me. But any way, this may be the year we rent a spot at the corn maze at night time with the blazing fire pit, and a flash light jaunt through the maze. Atmosphere is everything! You ready to try a night time one now?

Evening all

Feel satisfied with what effort I put out today,,, at least up until early afternoon.
Blood drawn first thing, Got a 'script filled on the way back, a few other stops/errands 'tween getting bloodwork done and returning home. Then decided today was the day I was gonna replace the distributor's cap n rotor on the Silverado(been getting uppity when it gets humid)Missed the old daze when that job was a simple/quick lean over under the hood, viola!. Cap/rotor at the back of the engine, partially hidden by the firewall, add in my OFR-ness and 3x spinal fusion surgeries,,,, and that meant one knee on the truck's battery, one hand(when I could) on the alternator, right leg on green and left hand on another Twister color:freak::cry:, and then trying to reach over/under/around to swap out the parts. Sure glad I jumped ship from being a GM stealership tech shortly after high school to the wonderful and rewarding:rotflmao: career as a spark chaser/PLC-automation fixer/programmer/and everything else related to wanting to electrically shake hands with ya,,, cuz I can't imagine I woulda lasted long(with my back /bod) leaning under hoods, climbing under dashes,,,3 new wiper blade inserts on Blyth's car(no brainer of a job, but made for good brownie points with the missus;) ), and replaced a band saw blade wheel and the "tire" for both blade wheels(band saw blade rides on the "tire" ) Black walnut pickup, incoming storm front helped drop a few extra instead of waiting on regular nature. Timed it right as not to get Kabong'd in my gourd by 'em,,Told myself no hardhats this season;) . Assisted Blyth in some of her fall gardening stuff, mucho bulb planting along with end of season flower gardens tending to.
That took care of 8 am til 1pm,,,then a bunch of other stuff until the rain actually decided to show up. Luckily the brunt of bad weather passed to the north of us, 5-6" of rain is not my idea of watering the grounds here. So far got just enough to say it rained decent, and will leave the extreme storm and flooding warnings to those north of me.

Paying the price for my Silverado Wallenda imitation/ rock wall climbing/trying to do work in the truck's engine bay(while being ON said engine)Imagine I'll be even a lil more sore come morning,,,,

Shop needs a good cleanup/organize, so that'll be first thing on the to-do list for tomorrow,,,,Tried putting stuff back after each job/chore today,, close but not 100% compliance , at least I tried  .

Hope everyone had a great day!
