ive got a wall in my house that im looking to uprade to a larger tank in the future, its a 5 foot wall wiht a nice closet behind it that i could use as a water mix station and refugium area and crap.

id really like a tank thats 60" x 24 x 24 (150 gallon) or maybe even a 60 x 30 x 24 (190 gallon), but the only manufacturers i know of that have tanks close to these sizes is glasscages.com, and after reviews ive heard about them, im a little hesitant to try.

i know marineland makes a 60 x 36 x 24, which is like 250 gallons! it would be really sweet, but might be a little bigger then i want to attempt. does anyone know of any other tank companies that make tanks similar to these sizes without being a custom setup? for what its worth, id really prefer corner overflows too.

thanks for any tips anyone can offer.

im hoping to find something premade before i look into the custom route, i know many companies will charge a pretty penny for custom work, and im not made tons of money here.

this makes me wonder if you read my post at all, i know of glass cages, and heard many bad reviews about them.

nothing wrong with glasscages, the thing that is comman about almost every horror story you hear from their customers is because they did not put foam under the tank and it wasnt put on an even surface. the glass is thinner then normal from glasscages so you need to be sure its level and properly installed. Also alot of the bad thing happen to the 6ft+ tanks because of the front panel failing
i sure dont like hearing that they use thin glass, lol. but thanks for the vote of confidence their tanks certainly are affordable.

He was looking for the place that has them pre made. There you go. Would i buy it from threm, NO. I would be willing to spend extra money from other places, but it sounds like he was more intersted in cost, not quality.
im actually interested in quality and cost, i dont wanna drop 5 grand on a custom tank if there is a manufacturer that commonly has this size tank for 800 bucks, i didnt think it was that strange of a question.

yea, ive been in the hobby for a long time, and many tank manufacturers have come and gone in that time. im simply asking if anyone knows of other tank companies that make tanks in similar dimensions, i found a company called deep sea aquatics that has a 190 thats 60 x 27 x 27, which seems great, but i can find a price on their setup. im sure there are several more then just them, marineland, and glass cages, which is why i started this thread. you seem to have a hard time understanding what im asking here.

It all has to do with how the glass manufacturer makes there sheets. and i think it is generaly done in even numbers.
Ever seen Mr. Saltwatertank, do his video of Dutch aquarium systems tank biulding?
It is Giant sheets of glass, and i am sure that trying to get even numbers out of the sheets is a little less wastefull.
Yes , i know what you are saying , what if the sheets are odd measurements, well thats not the norm, so they get shipped in even sizes....at least that is what my windshield guy said...LOL

Perfecto makes a standard 120XH that is 60x18x26. It is available with corner overflows. Any LFS should be able to order it for you.

Deep Sea Aquatics also makes a 110 Pro that is 61x21x22. Are you looking for just the tank or the full setup?

just looking around really, i havent checked perfecto yet, ive seen other 120's but i was hoping for something wider then 18". i really like the deep dimensions to make exciting aqua scapes. the 110 would be something id consider though.

i would take the tank probabbly and buidl a stand and canopy myself, or if the deal is right, i wouldnt mind getting the whole setup.

Just make it Yourself!!! It will cost peanuts and all job will take You less than 10minutes. I've made few tanks already and it's easier than You think. get Yourself silicone, masking tape and someone to help (don't try with wife as it's not gonna work - trust me) and You will be done before You even know it.
