I have a red linckia star fish in my 72 gallon saltwater tank. I got it 14 days ago and it is holding onto one side of the glass by only one arm. The other arms are limp and I think it is about to die. Any recommendations. The other corals look good. Did a water change and the water tests come out good.

Linkia and many other sp. of star are not good choices unfortunately. The problem is they are VERY sensitive and need super long acclamations...even if you acclimate well and have a healthy well established tank there is a very good chance that somewhere up-line before you did not do a good job and therefore the star is doomed before you ever get it...I only keep (and recommend) serpent or brittle stars for the most part...they are much more hardy...I have a red serpent that I hand feed that I think is just as cool.
