my emerald crab used to go into my goby and shrimps hole on a regular basis. you could hear the shrimp snapping away and the crab would always come out pincing his claws into the hole. : /

but thats just my experience. Maybe yours will be fine, how big is the system? tank/fuge.

The crab and shrimp would be together in a 15 gallon system but if the crab doesnt work out I have over 400 gallons of saltwater it could find its home in haha.

From the way this thing likes to eat (never stops) I think it would love it in my 10 gallon macro algae tank

No need to worry about this anymore, he is already banished to the 10!
I put in a frogspawn that I had raised from a shard the size of this 0 and the crab went right up to it and ripped off a chunk and began to eat it.
