Hi all,

I got a memo from Yahoo groups today to either use the account or lose it -- that's why you all got a test message.

I think we need to decide whether to keep that account or ditch it - I have not maintained it since the beginning of the year, as it was suggested that we could do our own group, and not have the advertisements on it.

I activated it again today, pending the BOD's decision on it... but we really do need to decide what we're doing with it.

I really hate the yahoo groups.

Bogus advertiseing that has nothing to do w/ reefs.

I would like to see us have our own membership database w/ e-mail capabilities.

Maybe someone else can chime in on this.

I think I can set up a mailing list via the web site pretty easily but the membership list that Jenn sent over doesn't have email addresses so that makes things a bit harder.

Jenn, any way I can get those email addresses?

Were the email addresses not on the contact roster I sent you?

Anyone that filled in an email on the membership form, I input the email addy on the contact info, that should have come across on the spreadsheet I sent you.

The spreadsheet is at the store, I'll have to look tomorrow.
