I have a ten gallon mini reef and I have two possibly three Mithrax crabs in there eating my bubble algae. I JUST added a banded coral shrimp tonight and I read that they can be aggressive towards other crustaceans. I saw them cross one another's path and they did not interact violently but rather passed each other by. I also have soft corals growing in there and I've heard the coral shrimp may pick on them and inadvertently spread more coral around the tank?? Any truth to this?

?

Anyone know if my crustaceans are going to fight one day? Oh and the tank has been upgraded to a 20gallon long.

I think it's the other way around,
My Mithrax Crab will often snip the antennas off my CBS.
but in the end they really don't do much damage to each other.

definitely some truth to it, the coral banded shrimp are pretty aggressive. I've seen one try to catch smaller fish in the past. I'd surely keep my eyes on it.
