Good evening, gang!
I better get started commenting on peoples posts.
Good morning everyone.
Out doing my Uber. Got a rider that is waiting a half hour for dialysis to open. No way am I dumping her in the cold so hanging out.
Off to pick up some funky glue for work at 8 then got a fun day of wrenching ahead.
Coffee is on!
No question about it. That was the right thing to do, Perry.
Wrenching is always a good day.
Morning all. I got no breakfast to offer. If you are lookin for a coffee on the run I can fix you up. I expect Cath is going to give me heck for not eating breakfast.
You darn right, Rick. 😝. Good thing I wasn’t near my iPad or you would’ve heard about it.😂😂. I trust you’ve had something to eat right now.
Vinnie, that is a sweet boat for sure. It will be great for you to share with your family and friends. Well, maybe not share, but they can be in the boat with you.
Presley sure is a cute little girl! That’s a great photo of her in her kindergarten graduation cap and gown.
Vinnie, I was so busy typing out my post when you snuck in tell us about how you are going to tease Shelby.
Doug, how did your day pan out? I hope the crazies were not in force today.
Todahas been a mix of tension-filled event, and something pleasant and interesting. The day started out with me taking Sophie to the vet. She never likes that but now that she’s home she doesn’t seem like she minded it at all. In other words she’s like a regular self, maybe that will help the next time I need to take her for something. Now that I think about it, the tension was on my part.
Today we had a lunch & learn event at church, and it was terrific. The first surprise was that some unknown person said they would pay for everybody’s meals. It was fun to see everyone’s reactions when they came in and were ready to pay $10 for a nice meal, and woman I was working with and I told them their meals were already paid for. That would amount to over $500.
The woman I was working with is an employee and she suggested that people put their $10 in the collection late n Sunday. Towards the end of the event, I saw that someone had started a thank you note and everybody was signing it and offering thanks to the generous person who paid for our meals.
The program was about the murals that are around Spartanburg. Spartanburg is not a large city, by any means. It’s more like a town. But there are murals all over town, and most of them represent important issues.
Good grief, this is been a long post. I better quit now.
sending groovy thoughts to everybody for a good night
