I am new to the site and trying to post/ask my first question.
I have a longnose butterflyfish with large white growths/granulomas on the scales near its tail and a small ones on the pectoral fins. Does anyone know if these are fungal or parasitic and how to treat?
The fish is in a 150 tank with lots of live rock and was treated with copper sulfate for 60 days when all the fish were being added 6 months ago. Also in the tank are 5 other butterflyfish, 3 tangs, a Moorish Idol (yes I have to admit I have been guility of trying these difficult fish) and 3 gobies.
