.....getting closer.
Top of the morning, well before the sun gets here, and HAPPY THURSDAY!

We're sharing the dip in summer temps over/up here as well.....a nice break. But will be returning before long. 50's at night climbing to the upper 70's.

Coffee is ready to share, but that Carrot cake is vanishing fast.....best hurry if'n Ya got the urge.

Nothing in stone round here other than I'll be down on the creek if Ya need me.
Peace and grooviness,
Hack

Mornin all! Coffeewas by the pond this morning. It is dark still and I could see my breath - yes fall is definitely in the air. Mid 60's today and mid '70's for the next couple but sunny and no rain!

It is readily apparent a skunk has dug a burrow under the front porch. It is also very evident that another skunk tried to enter the burrow at some point last night. This triggered some all out chemical warfare that makes having coffee by the pond much nicer than in the house...looks like I am gonna have to address that tomorrow and evict both.

Morning all. Rick what could possibly go wrong?

Nice 80's day. Putting together a plan to build an inspection contraption. It is so hard to get people that actually look at what they are doing.

Have a fantastic day everyone!

Good mawnin’, Hack, Rick, Perry, and all of TRT!

yummmmm! Thanks for the carrot cake and coffee, Hack! That is a super duper treat. I’ll add nanners and breakfast fajitas for a sweet killer.
You may not have had a serious injury with your fingers yesterday, but I bet they sure are sore today. No more stuff like that, and I mean it.

Rick - Ewwwww yeah I guess you do have to relocate those skunks. How do you get rid of that stench?

what in the world are people thinking when they don’t actually look at what they’re doing? I guess that’s what your job is to fix the messes that they create. Or at least keep those messes from getting out of the building.

Looks like Fiona is getting ready to be a hurricane. But it’s anybody’s guess which way she goes. Just because it looks like she might head north east does it mean that’s what she will actually do.

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Cath the labor pool now accepts ex-cons, homeless and THC positive folks. It is slim pickings to find any temporary help. There are also language barriers for instructions and training. We just need to error proof every process we can with test fixtures and things called Poke Yoke that ensure there is now way something can be wrong.

Keeps food on my table trying to keep up.

Afternoon all,
Skunk warfare was lingering in the air last night,,, hopefully it was not the same one TS, , heheh.
Dawgs had noses in the air,,, and figured since I could catch a light whiff of it, imagine the dogs really got a snoot full 🫢.
Got a late start but lowered the dog’s back yard and out front of the house just now, rainy session kicked growth up a bit.

A quick shower to rid what the zero turn applied to me , then a regroup as to what the rest of the day will be like.

Hope everyone is having a great day 👍🏼

Bummer with your Saturday plans being dicey due to rain. I hope I can get some kind of enjoyment out of it.

That’s good to hear that some of the wild is being contained a bit.

in other news, as usual, I will be having coffee and breakfast with friends tomorrow morning. I might make a quick stop at Aldi‘s to pick up cheese and fruit for a church thing on Sunday.
I hope to be home by 10:00.

Zoom Civitan tonight, followed by a Facebook hymn sing.

Sending wishes for a groovy night for everyone!

Something smells strange about today's thread? 😁

More than once I tangled with them creatures......one was a shoe out my bedroom window thinking it was an 'alley cat' singing way too late.....,it wasn't.
Another time I was camping out at the pit, and the rains came down......so I huddled under an over hanging ledge to get out of it......so'd Stinky La Pew! We came to an accord.

We often get them cruising our neighborhood, and when there's nosey dogs involved you just gots to be on your guard.

Yeah Cath the finger tips are a wee tender.....and the thumb I fell out of the truck and jammed makes an interesting hand I have to put up with.

Doug THANKS for leading us into the weekend.....hope grooviness comes through for Ya Pal.

'Fool proof'.....SORRY Bro, but that's right up there with 'perpetual motion'....a lot of thoughts come close but there's still no 'WEE DOGGIE!'. There's always a smarter idiot out there that can out wit us. Their bloody brilliant!

Winterizing is starting over there, and another got 'shrunk' this morning......the 'season' be starting.

Sing a little louder Cath so we can enjoy this as well.....Peace,
Hack
