Home Depot doesn't call it "egg create" I had the same experience with them here. I just couldn't belive they didn't carry it, so I hunted the entire store until I found it.
You need to go over to the lighting sections, you know where they sell the florsecent lights..they are they in piles. I believe they have different width's. At least that's how they do it here in the Pacific Northwest. I can't imagine it being different there.
The HD here in columbus has it the same isle as the drop ceiling panels and they call it "light diffuser". When I asked for "eggcrate" they had no clue what I was talking about.
Personally I go to a lighting supply place, they are usually cheaper and have a better selection (ie: they carry the heavy duty commercial stuff). The Lowes and HD here only carry the light weight stuff.
If you still can't find it, I've got some left, what size do you need? I have a sheet uncut and some parts/pieces that I'm not going to need - I was going to toss them this weekend. If you can use them, great.
