Hmmm... when I run out of sleeping pills is a bad time to have mountain Dew with dinner  I ran out of productive stuff to do at 345 am a long time ago so I thought I would start a M-ville weekend thread.

Morning everyone. Off to work I go.

We went out downtown drinking and dining last night. Cynthia won Neville Brothers tickets for Wednesday which is nice.

Better get my butt in gear!

Good morning, everyone :)

Breakfast or brunch, I've got it going. Stout coffee, tea, eggs over easy or medium (as you wish) cowboy taters, Texas toast, and SC peaches.

Jeremy - ouch on being sleepless last night. Skip the coffee today. Yeh, right.

Perry - good deal on Cynthia's win on those tickets.

KIA - what's on tap for you today?

Bob is playing a golf tourney today, then tonight we're going to a covered dish dinner at the home of some friends of ours.

I'm not part of the entertainment planning committee, so I have no idea what's on tap for me today

my guess would be the honey-do list
laundry
mow the grass
clean the basement

I need to clean up the garage a little and put stuff away after all of our painting as well.

My wife is trying to rope me into looking for fossils with her friends and their little kid. I am trying my hardest to get out of that.

We have got to have a winning sport for my company with sand volleyball. Is this over the top? (just finished it with iron on Avery kit)

Cool cars, Vince, from back when they made real cars.

Maybe only a little over the top but OK so long as the Digger Dog likes it. :D

On a short break before I head to the motocross track. Man, is it ever hot out there!

Enjoy the rest of the day,

Dick:)

Speaking of which my wife is going to get a Bersa .380 for her concealed carry class.

They can't keep consumable widgets in stock here locally especially if they are about 9mm round.

I told the boys it was to keep Santa out
Speaking of which you could have hung your Xmas lights while you were up there. October is right around the corner.

Good evening and happy weekend all!:wavey:

Worked in the yard part of today. I had a spot that would not grow grass at the new house. You could tell the was a little concrete under the dirt on part of it. I decided it might be a good idea to get it out of there. Little did I know was that the concrete was about 2" under the soil, 3' wide by 5' long and as thick as 4". Under that was close to 1' of gravel. It took close to 400 lbs of topsoil to fill the hole!

After getting that dug out, filled and seeded, we went to see the new Transformer movie. A couple of the F-16s I use to work on in NM were in the movie.
