I have always read that keeping a Powder Blue Tang is difficult, and was wondering what the secret is to keeping one. We have a 240ga. FOWLR and have concidered one, but have not yet gone for it. Don't really believe in buying something that will more than likely die.
We have a Powder Brown in our reef that has been doing well, so far. The brown started off in the FOWLR, but was attacked by our niger and Lieutenant Tang, so was switched to the reef.
Woukd a Blue fare better since they are more aggressive? Any successfull Blue owners have any input? Thanks.

I don't have any help for you on Powder Blue Tangs but have heard they can be hard to acclimate to your aquarium but if they do they do well! I met a guy at the LFS who has tried 5 powder blue tangs and cannot keep one alive in his system! Really strange! I wish you well and hope you get the advice you need!:)
