I was thinking of using a 10 gallon tank as my sump for my 20 gallon nano. No I am thinking of wanting to drill the sump. I don't want to drill the glass so I was wondering what to use as the sump? The space in ,y cabnet stand is 23 1/4" x 11 /4".

I like the 10 gal glass tank. It's cheap, easy to find, good size, and easy to silicone baffles into. Might be a tight fit though, you'd have to use a submersible return pump.

10 gallon tank will be a little small. Hard to fit much of anything in there (heater/skimmer/pump/etc).

get a 20 gallon (preferably long) and you'll have spent maybe $5-10 more and get a lot more room in exhange.

just my 2 cents. ;)
