What is the red stuff? How do I get rid of it? Also, all the levels of things in my tank look fine but nitrites have been running high, how do I lower those?

I tried to upload pictures of the growth (the red stuff) and my overall tank. All I have is a featherduster, coral banded shrimp, maroon clownfish, and a percula clownfish. My tank is 2-3 months old.
Thanks!

it just looks like some algae to me. You can get an herbivorous fish that will likely eat it right away if you don't want it.

Thats a diatom outbreak. It will go away on its own. Just takes time.

Couldn't hurt to siphon some up every day or two though, to remove some of the nutrients from the water column

Forgot to add, it seems to decrease when lights are left off or on moonlight. It has been around a couple of weeks now.

Thanks for the replies.
