Morning Ya'll! Didn't see the daily thread...

Was pretty busy yesterday, didn't get to check in. This morning the kid woke up at the exact wrong time, so I'm up extra early. Going to the gym, then heading to work. Benefit of having a gym so close is I can work out then come home and shower!

Have a dry day...it's storming pretty bad this morning!

Good Morning Indie and all!

Coffee and Bagels, grits and eggs with cheeze.

Raining here, we had a break from it yesterday and I went to bike night, real good time. Spring time evening riding is great. Love my bike.

Kristine and Shelby are still under the weather.

Two more days this week and the a three day weekend, I may have to make it alittle longer weekend .

Have a Great day!

Good morning Indie, George, Vinnie and all the rest to come.
Uneventful shift at the FD yesterday. 3 days off, except for CPR instructing tomorrow night. May start packing to move out. I don't think it's going to last until graduation. She had a dinner date last Friday while I was at work and brought home leftovers. Nothing like having your nose rubbed in the fact that your wife has a boyfriend. If Allie is okay with it, I'm on the way out.
Sorry about the baby induced insomnia Indie. At least you made productive use of your time. Stay dry.
Sounds like a fine day George. It feels like it's already 67 here.
Sorry to hear that your ladies are under the weather Vin. Hope the guys don't catch it. Raining out your way? Guess I better recheck the forecast. I didn't think we had anymore on the way til Friday, but we are usually 12-24 hours behind your forecast.
Y'all have a good day. I'll be back after I get home.

Good mawnin', Indie, George, Vinnie, Ray, and all of TRT!

Thanks for the huge breakfast for us, George and Vinnie. Give Indie first go around since she's had a rough go of it with lack of sleep.

Indie - I hear ya on a close by gym. Mine's very close too.

Vinnie - Sorry to hear that Kristine and Shelby are feeling puny.

Ray - That's pretty crappy about your wife having a date! Somehow I'm sure you will rise up above it like a phoenix.

Ray - you beat me to the draw on hot cross buns. Yummmmmm

My left shoulder is giving me fits. I have adhesive capsulitis (fancy word for that it hurts like all get out). Now I have to figure out what junk to not include in my purse. ;)

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone.

[1]Cross Buns? [2] Hot Cross Buns?

1. What one gets after 20 miles on a bike ride with a small seat in Canada.
2. What one gets after 20 miles on a bike ride with a small seat in southern Florida.

Good Morning, Indie, George, Vince, Ray, Cath, Dave, & All! :)

78f and t-storms during the day is the forecast. Same for tomorrow.

I've got a funeral service to attend this afternoon for a longtime friend. His brother was my boss for 19 years and I've known the family most of my life. A tragic situation. :(

Indie, having a gym so close by is handy. I pass right by one on my way to work most days but it hasn't helped me a bit. Maybe if I actually went in there and exercised, it might make a difference.

Indeed, Ray. Wife with a boyfriend is just intolerable.

I'm sure the doctor bills will lighten your purse substantially. ;) I hope you get some relief from the pain.

This young lady had to have been a late summer baby. She also has a twin sister that you might see tomorrow. They couldn't be more than 7~8 months old. Taken last week.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

Good morning Dick

I guess if there's an upside to paying respects, it's that you shared friendship with a fellow human being which hopefully brought happiness during that time in their life.

You should bring a thinning comb and a hair brush tomorrow, so sis can have that shinny summer coat look. :^)

Cath.Sorry to hear of your shoulder pain....you probably won't be playing volly ball today. Get well, please.

Ray...Sorry bud, I missed your post. Ouch.....I'd have thrown out that food for the dog to enjoy. That's a low blow.

Thanks, George & Dave. Ed was a first class citizen with a lifetime of service to the people as a combat veteran and career as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. I last saw him about a month ago at a surprise birthday party for his brother. I spent a long time talking with him so my last memories of him are happy ones.

Yes, the two babes do need a new summer "Do".

Sorry for your loss, Dick. Glad you have a lot of happy memories- those are the ones you really want to hold on to!

Just made myself a fajita omelet (2 eggs + leftover fajita fixin's) time to get going over to the base. My boss has been out sick for 2 days, so it's been REALLY quiet! Not complaining ;)

Have a good one ya'll!

Sorry about your loss of a good buddy Dick, and like you said, you had happy memories of the last time you were together(and prob swapping stories making that much more memorable:thumbup:)

I have adhesive capsulitis (fancy word for that it hurts like all get out).
Gotta luv those Docs down there Cath(tho I think you 'splained the daffynition of the big words for hurtin' like the dicken's)

Dunno what yer affliction is techically( but will quiz Blyth when she gets home shortly) ,but it don't sound minor on the OW! scale.

And FYI, not EVEN going anywhere near a comment about a BRW's purse, it just ain't healthy LOL.

Just hope you find relief, hurting is not a fun thing. Take it from one that knows:stars: :crap: .

Morning all
Midnite shift #4 is in the bag, one more tonite and it's long "weekend" time for this fella!

Kinda busy the last few days, one of those "flip stuff=make some quick:fistcash:" things popped up thru my buddy. He picked up 30-40 VERY nice($$) outside light fixtures (retails for $90+, he got 'em for $5 each ) new in da box, from a auction liquidation of a restaurant chain owner/big money tycoon that was clearing out excess stuff at a 2 story warehouse in Indy. He scored some great rest. type things which will prob return 1000 fold when he sells them. He's keeping the 8-10 he wants for his new warehouse/ house being built as we speak, the rest I bought from him(I paid $10, so he doubled his money AND got his lights for free so to speak.

Me, I get new lights for the outside of the house and the shop, the rest are pretty much spoken for  in one nite's show n tell @ work.(and I 2-3x my $$)
Jus' a lil pin money for vacation in a few months

Taking the Silverado to his place shortly, one to bring the scrap metal I've gotten out of the pole barn from the "don't want/need" catagory so he can add it to his stuff for the scrap yard, and then to bring the remaining lights back home w/ me (learned can only get 8-9 of em in da CR-V)

After that, the day is mine.Prob putting up new lights will be the plan you'd think, but want to get LED bulbs to go in them b4 i do the install , first.Incan bulbs (3-60 watters inna fixture x's 4) would spin the meter too fast for my liking, and since I figgered out that 7 LED bulbs equals one incan bulb, it's a no brainer to spring for seemingly pricey LED bulbs(Think $15-19 for 3 @ Costco) vs the incan's.
So, prob will do what I can on the mowing/lowering stuff around here. The green stuff is starting to take off and don't want to get behind.

Hope everyone has a great day! :wavey:
