my spotted puffer in my fowlr has been acting weird since last night. When I added my new fish and snails and all, it seemed excited and seemed to attack them-very lively. but last night and still today he has been "laying" vertically on my LR. he usually sleeps on the live rock, but he seems scared or something. he is usually the big boss in the tank. any ideas if something is wrong?

Shock maybe, check your water...did you acclimate your <>< ??

i acclimated all my fish over about an hour so i dont think that was it. I would think the shock would come right away, but he was fine right away.

i added a flame angel and 2 green chromis along with with snails

hmmmm... none of them should really bother the puffer at all...

Just keep an eye on him....

Long shot, but have you started feeding garlic? My puffer went insane after I fed it garlic for about a week.
