I don't know about others, have the Red Sea. I like mine, got the Wavemaster Pro used from someone [used 6 months] ... and thought used was the best way to get one. Might have to wait for one, but possible.
If you're going to have a lot of powerheads in your tank, seems like the way to do it IMO. I'd be sure to have trusty ph's as they go on and off a couple times a minute ... my Maxijets haven't had a problem but I could see other ones having more problems.
Anyway, just my 8 weeks with one, but my corals responded well.
