I am doing a basement remodel so my RODI unit is off-line till it is done. I have been buying freshwater up at Woody's but he's closed today and I am out of water. Where else is a good place to get water or can anyone spare a few gallons?

Most Winco grocery stores have a "fill-it-yourself" machine that dispenses RO water by the gallon. The machines are either located out front of the store or near the deli section. Water was $.25/gallon last time I bought it, but has since gone up to $.30/gallon at my local store.

i can have 5 gallons for ya if you wanna come over later tonight. i will get the containers filling. you can transfer to your own water carriers, or you can just bring me back mine in a day or two. let me know or call at 236-7324. if phone is busy drop a pm as i am online.

i have some guys coming over at 8 tonight, and can have water for ya then if you want to shoot for that time slot.

also got a line on a low cost flow meter if you come over you can check out the catalog it is in to see if you want it. maybe we can go in on it. i think it is about 16 bucks.

Hey Krux,

Thanks for the offer. My wife is working tonight and I have three kids going to bed at 8 so...

I ended up going to Fred Meyer and getting water from their drinking water dispenser at $0.35/gal. TDS = 21 which isn't great but is probably ok for 5-10 gal in an emergancy.
