Was in to work early today to do some staff training on the fire panel procedures for the night staff. That is complete and I have half an hour to shuffle through the forums. I hope all have a great day.

Morning Rick. Got canned and picking up my stuff at 8:30. The FDA audit is next week, and the place I was working at took the writeups then did nothing. I spent a few nights learning statistics and reviewed files and asked for a quiet place to sit.

This escalated as the seven people before me had no problems. They also failed miserably. I was on submarines and am used to very quiet conversations. I called off and was working from home, then got blasted by the lady I report to and the lady that is the President. They have the mindset that we will take our lumps and move on. The parts we make go inside people.

Another day ahead. My job search will take that long.

Coffee is being consumed as I type, and my tummy is telling me to 'WOW' and get some grub.....haven't heeded that yet, but shall.
My Family was up all night and are JUST NOW getting into bed......I'm just a confirmed 'day shifter' no matter how hard they try to corrupt me. So it'll be more of a fair fight....just me against the world.

Perry......I'm speechless, dumbfounded, perplexed and befuddled.....Let's throw shocked, sad, and bewildered in there for good measure as well? MAN that sucks a hodgy!

Rick....20 heading to 40F today, and tonight that 'polar thing' begins to move in......20's for a hight with HIGHER WINDS for the next couple days. Best viewed from inside a warm home I be thinking.

Morning all,
Got a early start at /in mom’s garage ,, moved one side of “stuff” to the other , in taller and “no need to be of interest or move again until auction day” stacks. Glad dad had a furnace in the 3+ garage,,, at least it’s toasty while “working “ out here.

Garbage bins at the curb, with any luck I’ll still be here to bring da empties back and not have the nice neighbor bring em back when I’m not here other times.

Feel silver or gold star worthy on efforts so far today,,, if it goes up or down a level will be based on how my output and ability holds up.

Finished the brake system in the ‘50 Merc yesterday,,, done and done 👍🏼. Also grabbed the grease gun and lubed as needed, old school cars have a zillion zerk fittings,,, kids working at a quick oil change place would quit since most prob don’t know what a “grease job” is,,,
Based on my age and what miles the Merc will travel under my stewardship I’m prob not wrong thinking this is the last grease’n the Merc will get in my lifetime , heheh.

Couple cups of thermos coffee installed,, time get back to “work “

Good Morning, 24 here heading to 50ish for my fri on a thursday. Dang Perry, that bites but esp in that industry fudging numbers and protocals can be a matter of life and death as well as REALLY EXPENSIVE if they get caught.
My sympathies for you all in the cold zone, my weather is painful enough, temps like that would close store Brrrrrrrrrr

The speaker at Daughters of the American Revolution was great! He talked about the South Carolina Liberty Trail, which links the significant/turning point battles in the Southern Campaign. I would love to travel those trails from the South Carolina Lowcountry up to the Upstate and visit each battlefield. That would take a long time.

Not my problem anymore. I am required by law to be up front about violations and sent my concerns to the FDA. They regulate cosmetics, drugs and things that doctors do every day,

The stuff about my boss being a beautiful lady that inherited a business from her father doesn't matter. I said no and she won't listen. I escalated it and sorry but my three ethics classes taught me to do the right thing. Yeah I lost my job. I stood up for what is right.

'nuff said.

Aftereve all, survived last day at work, not a bad day but temps only got up to 40s and was a cold damp miserable mess all day.
Cath that sounds like a fun 3 day weekend if you could get Bobbi and Hal to participate. We have a lot of historical stuff in Oregon, end of Oregon Trail, Astoria which was originally a Russian fur trade and shipping spot, not to mention the film Goonies as filmed there. Would love to be in a position to take my Lady Friend and out dawgs and spend 4 days checking it out, although we would not have to do Astoria, she lived there for a long time, dealt antiques, and was on the historical building commitee.
Perry I agree with your decision, she may be a nice lady but if it is not copecetic and you are involved , ie become the fall guy that has long term term detriment to your career. Its like a JO that signs off on a reactor they know is unsat because the Skipper doesnt want the blemish on his watch, or a Plane Capt that signs off on maint issue that wasnt 110%
