I was looking into my tank the other day before getting ready to leave and noticed inside a piece of live rock some tadpole looking things swimming inside. They were dark and looked kind of like frog tadpoles. Any ideas what they are?

More than likely they are "pods." One of the little critters you want to develp as infauna diversity in your tank. Although if you have pairs of shrimp in your tank they could be shrimp larvae that just haven't been et yet
