I have the 1000, it works well but the pump it uses needs a Needel wheel to make it effective (this wheel breaks up the air bubbles into micro bubbles). They come with an Ocean RUnner 2700, 700gph. It is very quiet running. Why not get one and use the mag for circulation or spray bar, you will want a good current flow anyway!

I've heard awesome things about this skimmer, I'm in great need of a skimmer upgrage for my 120g.
Can a MAG7 run a turboflotor 1000? If not what is a good skimmer for a 120g that can use a MAG7?
the reason I ask is beacuse I have a brand new mag7 in my garage.
