馃......hmmmmmm.....YUP! HAPPY TUESDAY Y'ALL!

Practically a day in bed......slept till 5:30 this morning.:giggle:
Coffee is up, and breakfast, unless I get smacked hard by the energy bug shortly, will involve that there enticing bowl of Hershey miniatures next to the coffee mess......follow the trail here....also under the heading of 'vitamin-C'.....'C'hocolate!馃榿

Heading to the creek again today, but mostly to collect some of the Atlantic Ocean for my personal consumption, but will probably wind up 'chatting' with the boss for a while since I'll be THAT direction.

Another day in the 'warming trend' around here.....near 50 I think.
Hope a spectacular day greets Everyone,

Morning Gang, what started as a quick jaunt to take pics turned into a long drawn out ordeal involving a shredded tire, inaccessible spare and waiting on someone to round up a tire/wheel that would fit. Left at 3pm, got home at 845 oorah

Morning all. My new maintenance guy vanished at work, and turns out he claims I ran him off. I told him calmly he doesn't get to scream profanity and racial insults at the production people one time and that he can't just go hitting the E-stop on a 24 cavity press because we are not reacting fast enough another time. I let my manager know he can walk out and speak to anyone of the 40 odd people out there, but he said no need. I wouldn't be in my job unless a cool head and correct decisions were any doubt. This is not professional, but I noticed the guy had a few smashed out teeth. Just saying.

One more night shift then time to get ready for the big 42 hour weekend extravaganza. We are going to reduced shifts for most people, so it is potluck of my team members each night. I get to keep my rock star core team on my schedule, and working maintenance got the chance to really know each of the folks on every shift.

Nap time then headed back in. Tomorrow all the Romex gets tied together neater than Christmas Vacation, then the basement is lit.

Catch you all on the flip side. You all don't need to know what goes on after midnight.

Good Tuesday AM to all. I hope I can join in on the coffee club. But really DD. Ha amateurish. Hand full of Girl Scout S鈥檓ores and some BRCC and the day鈥檚 started right.

Thankfully, retired now so it鈥檚 feed the fish, watch the fish, dream of other fish (and corals) on tap for the day. Oh and add some code to my controller as well.

OK, ......Hi Steve and welcome to the TRT Training Table! ("Hey folks, lock the doors.....we got us another one!")馃榿

This thread is as old as my jokes, and has been a steady part of our community since a wee before forever......so THAT'S why we can get a way with having something sooooooo off topic here in the GENERAL REEF DISCUSSION FORUM.

Everyone is welcome around the Breakfast Table...,.,.,.a place where folks get to know each other beyond just a 'Hi n Bey'. Friendships are common, and caring is always free. I find it far easier 'trusting someone's advice when I know them', rather than Mr. Fly by night telling me to add Orange soda to the tank, and buy a $20,skillion.00 thing-a-ma-bobber to it afterwards.

Oooooooops, a fellow VET......Thank you for all you've done for us! Ex US NAVY here.

I think I covered everything.....馃馃憤

Yeah Doug, THAT'S pretty suckie! Trying to avoid THAT myself......a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica as great of a van as they are, in all their collective wisdom they opted against selling them with 'spare tires'....BUT, there is an air compressor and a can of FIX-A-FLAT! Of all the hair ball things......

Anyway been trying to track down a spare/tire and rim, something better than a wing n a prayer. Evidently this vehicle's rim is something 'black ops' on have privy intel on....17" 5-lug......,BUT that there 5-lug thing is conspicuously 'odd ball', and folks are having a dicken's of a time getting me one? 3 junk yards, 4 auto parts store, and an 'I'm sorry but we don't carry spares for THAT van' from the dealer. I'm on the last Auto parts store call list while they look into this.....

Come a wee closer Folks, Sshhhhhhhhhh.........IT'S A BLASTED TIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!馃ゴ

Good afternoon, Doug, Steve, Perry, and Hack!

Doug - Arrrgghh, that sure ruins an afternoon and evening. I hope your day is MUCH better!

Hi, Steve - What Hack said about this training table is oenophile to everyone.Welcone aboard.

Perry - Way to go on getting that tantrum-prone so&so out! He is so not needed.
We are soooo looking forward to the completed basement photos!

Hack - Agreed! That is outrageous having to go through all of that folderol for a tire.

Beautiful day here at a sunny 54 and going to 66. Tomorrow is supposed to be 70!馃槑

Ha I saw the Navy reference and came back specifically to say thank you for your service.

I was USAF 鈥78 - 鈥87. Dover AFB first 1/2 and the Philippines the 2nd 1/2. And, naturally, my kid is an AT in the Navy out of Norfolk VA.

Honestly, I lurk on a few forums, but joined here because of this thread. I mean, if going to be in an online community, then be in a community first, and online second. Right?

Thanks Cath. Though I鈥檓 more of a beer guy than a wine guy. And that figures since I live dead in the middle of our local 鈥渨ine country鈥, go figure.

Afternoon all,

I hear you on the trials and tribulations with mill/factory 鈥渋ssues鈥 Perry ,,,sometimes it鈥檚 鈥渦s鈥 against 鈥渢hem ( production/maint./ supervision) but if and when the overall is doing its thing decently for the most part, the crud stuff seems smaller and less of a headache . Seems like 鈥渢hat person鈥 is in most all workplace scenarios . A small feel good/better when more folks refer to that person as 鈥渙h, that doofus/idjit鈥,,,, than avery few.

well, Indiana opened up 鈥60 and up鈥 for getting covid vaccines this morning . I somehow went thru the online motions in getting a appointment in very little trouble, ok NO trouble , could not have been easier. To the point that I was able to get a appt. for Blyth right after I did, on the same day AND time! How in the Wide World of Sports does THAT happen?!?! Granted, I went online some 5-6 hrs after it was announced , so I probably missed out on a few days sooner, but all things considered March 16th is not a bad deal.

Did some in town errands this morning, returned Blyth鈥檚 core car battery to the auto parts, TSC for a 鈥渂uy 16 , get 2 free 鈥渂ox of duet cakes for the woodpeckers and a 40# bag of seed mix, then to the small chain grub store for a few things, and ended it with taking all the recycle fodder to the county drop off site . All in all , a nicely grouped multi errand run.

Blyth did a Doxie rescue transport this afternoon, nice looking lol fella,,, having not many transports during Covid time, it was a new version of the hand off of the dog tween the drivers 鈥減arty with the dog gets out sets the crate down( wipes/disinfectant the handle etc. or wears gloves) goes back in car, pick up person then gets out of the car to get the crate,,, 6ft distancing PLUS going on. Sounded like a prisoner/hostage exchange in the movies , haha. Sign of the times,,,

welcome to TRT Steve! Hope you enjoy your time here. Lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here ( I鈥檒l let you know of those who are not , LOL)

On to the day,,,

hope everyone is having a great one!.

WOW, this place is exciting today......COOL! Good afternoon Jeff, since I obviously forgot to hit send when that perfectly good observation I was going to make a while ago....2 birds with 1 stone.

The chilly morning bouncing out in the creek was far more enjoyable and relaxing than was a afternoon trip to 'NO WAY IN ....EVER AGAIN-MART'........Completely rearranged, including mini-conveyor'd registers.....and only 1/2 of the number they use to have back when they were inefficient. NO BODY could find anything, so a store full of pajama clad, sub human.....Ya know....ZOMBIES roaming the floor. If'n it wasn't for Jen being there with me, and we both pinched each other afterwards just in case it was only a nightmare. When you're the only game in town, I guess you can play by what ever rules you make up.

STRICTLY 'curb-side', or early before the zombies crawl out of their tombs. SADLY DISAPPOINTING!

GOOD NEWS is my Marine Depot package just arrived.....,my every 6-month t5 bulb delivery. And ZERO against Marine Depot as they, pardon the pun, do a bang up job wrapping......BUT, every time, and it's been like 5-6 deliveries of them so far......there's always some broke in the tube. Bets have been placed.....but with a gentle wiggle we hear no broken glass sounds..........TO BE CONTINUED........
Absolute grooviness to One n All,
Hack

Ooooooops, Senior moment......Mushroom Cheese Steak Subs with fried onions with Pepsi for our dinning delights.

Well son of a gun....(8) 4' t5 bulbs arrived as advertised in one piece......well, 8 pieces. 馃 馃榿

4' tiny diameter tubes of glass make me nervous.......said the same thing about the t8's and 12's as well......in comparison I could tell some one to 'GO LONG' and wouldn't hesitate giving them things a toss.

Got to go give Marin Depot a thumbs up......firm believer in 'good things' are every bit as important to share as the bad.

Evening All, survived work, my coworker who comes in at 9am was sick all night so told to stay home. Lynz (manager) came in early trying to get most of the order placed before noon deadline since her youngest had a 9:45 Dr appt. Bottom line is, I was orphan till just before noon, when she got back just before noon, I ran the tape and showed here $1020.
Mind you she apologized for leaving me but said if anyone can pull it off it ids you.
My reply showing her the tape, Uh Huh, Who da Man?
Ordered a matching tire, gonna get another to match on same axle, putting the odd tire on the spare tire rim so they will all be close enough.
Get an email from Ziply saying the main house is getting DSL tomorrow(fingers crossed ) so I can let go of my expensive wifi I have used for a long time. I know one of the owners and like him but, but i get up to 7 mbs for $80 a month vs 20+ mbs for $35 so I save $10 mo
