Hi all,
Six months into our new hobby we have decided to upgrade our Red Sea Max 130D (34 gallon) to a 90 gallon megaflow aquarium. The Red Sea is a plug n play tank and the 90 gallon is a custom build.
Few questions:
1. What is the best way to transfer our livestock from the old tank into the new tank?
2. We were told we can literally dump the old tank into the new and will hopefully only have a small cycle. Is this okay for inverts and corals?
3. How are we supposed to efficiently put 60 gallons of new saltwater into the new tank (with the old live sand and the large amount of new live sand) without stranding our fish?
This is very stressful at the moment, thanks for all your help- it is much appreciated!
