How do you know when you have too much flow? My torch coral is waving around in the current but every now and then it looks like it really gets "flattened" by a wave. The polyps aren't retreating so does that mean the flow is OK? How do you know what is too much flow? Do long polyp corals like Torch generally like movement?

Thanks - thats what I figured - if it was too much current - the polyps would just retract inside the skeleton - but they are waving around just fine.

As you can see Doug - impatience has gotten the better of me...hopefully everything will be just fine tho. (Considering the parameters in the 12G the critters were removed from).

I'll post pics later in the week.

Sorry Doug - basically neglect the last week while gettin gthe mommy tank ready! That nano was driving me nuts between water temp, evaporation & nuisance algae. So - down with the nano - won't exist anymore!!! By the way - kudos to your comments about it "not being about the money".....

Everything still very happy in the 65 this morning..........I'll check parameters this afternoon and do a water change if I need to - but level was soo lo that I think I'll be in the clear. (I hope).
