Morning all,
My canine alarm clock has it set at 4:30 am ,, ugggh/arrgh. Murphy is the dawg in question.
Dunno why , but think it’s related to having to go do some bizness outside . Gonna be putting the dog’s water outa access toward the end of the evenings and see it that helps,,

The visit/ meet n greet at Sis’s yesterday went fine, was expected that Nash would be a bit scared with new people and surroundings ( tho he did seem to doze along with being silent in his crate during the 45 minute drive) . Dunno if he knew Sis’s new pup was Murphy’s sister🤷🏻‍♂️.
Getting Nash in new to him surroundings and humans etc., is the plan for proper socialization. Stuff like visits to the pet box stores n such , even if nothing gets purchased is another field trip for puppy school.

Nash has come out of his newb shell, knows the routines here pretty much . So far 👍🏼🤞🏻🙏, 100% housebroken record going on, a accident can be expected, but 100% from the get go only helps with his learning proper learn’n 👍🏼.

He mastered the Doxie ramp quickly, even using the 3 stairs at the back deck ( Murphy , even tho older n bigger is not a stair dawg yet) .
Nash follows me outside at close to a “heel” position,, will only make heeling on a leash that much easier . He is bestest play/chase/tussle buddies with Murphy even with the size/age difference. And has no trouble letting Murphy know if Murph gets a lil too “puppy needle teeth” with him.
While Nash is a GSD ( jokingly said to be perfect from birth 😉😂) pup, I’m sure general puppy actions/ activities will happen. But so far he has been really good at being a proper pup.

Coffee and breakfast burritos to offer this morning ..

Hope everyone has a great day!

WOW Jeff, GOOD MORNING!  SORRY that it's such an early one for Ya.......

And to the rest of us slow pokes.....a much latter GOOD MORNING, and HAPPY TUESDAY! ;)
Coffee is freshened, and CIBMC(Carnation Instant Breakfast 'milk chocolate'), once again on the Table, for them on the go.

Gonna be a wee cooler, though a warmer start than yesterday's 20's, as it's 35F now.....but will only get into the 40's for a high, and THAT'S WITH GALE FORCE WINDS spending the day with us.

Our's asked to go out at 3:30a, but after a light negotiation, they agreed to let me/us go back to sleep.....hope your's were as amiable Jeff?

Well the day beckons and I dislike holding things up....PEACE,
Hack

Mornin Jeff, Hack, and all who follow. Mid 30s here and that is about it for the next couple weeks. No high temps over 38F and very very little sun. If I don't see spring in the six weeks it was predicted that groundhog best beware the ides of March.

I liked using Bass Pro Shop for socializing the dogs Jeff. Lots of room, lots of people and the different areas of the store offer different surrondings...racks of clothes, isles of equipment, even to the boat section. Lots for little noses to sniff.

The wind sounds like it could be a handful in your circumstances Hack.

Have a good day all.

Hey Rick.....sounds as though you'll be winning the 'LATE ARRIVING SPRING AWARD' this year....power to Ya! (y)

Ironically I've never set foot in a Bass Pro Shop, though wore out a load of their catalogs.....even got one, as silly as it sounds, over here in Atlantic City. Just never had the gumption.

'Socialization', and 'sniffing hot spots'..........hmmmmmm? I believe our herds have always been more 'strategic' in nature as opposed to 'tactical'. They prefer the 55mph overview, and then POINT! Actually Oliver, our little Schnoodle at that point tries to take the wheel from me.

Good mawnin’, Jeff, Hack, and all of TRT

(Hit send, Cath
Thanks for the coffee and burritos, Jeff. I will add huge muffins, fresh from the oven, nanners and Halo oranges because they’re easy to eat.

Jeff, reading your report about Nash is so much fun. I didn’t know about the importance of socializing dogs, but it makes sense.

Hack - That sounds like miserable working conditions for you today. But I guess you’re used to it. I hope you get a proper warm hamburger for lunch to stock up your internal warmness.

Vinnie, I sure do miss you when you don’t post during a day. Surely there are some things to tell us about your grandkids or riding your bike or seahorses or whatever.

Rick, how did the ceiling work go yesterday?

Doug, what was the outcome of that Mötley Crüe that some of your coworkers attended last week?

61 and climbing up to 77 today, and it’s dry. So dry that there’s a warning out for the possibility of wildfires. There’s a green haze on everything today because the pollen is way too early. The flowering trees are gonna get a rude awakening when we have a very cold snap sometime. Bizarre weather.

lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Good morning everyone,

I like bass pro. It’s up on please visit we have one here in my little town. We also have a Cabela’s about 40 minute drive from here. They are both on my bass pro or vice a versa. I’m not sure who owns watt.
It is hayfever season and I’m feeling it working in the yard. My silver truck has a shade of green on it.

Mornin all, 32 and light dusting of snow. Taking Furgee in to the free pet clinic in town. Looking to get her hooked up with a voucher for discounted spay voucher.
Everyone had a great time at the Quiet Riot gig over the weekend.
Not sure how long it will take at the pet thing but it is scheduled for 10-noon so we shall see.
Hope the day treats you all well,, bummer on the pollen counts, not looking forward to that time here. Only 40F but no winds to speak of

hit enter dummy :( Went to the free pet clinic, right at the City Park which is now a refugee camp for the underhoused. After waiting in line for an hour they pulled the plug due to shortage of vets, but I did talk to the lady from the spay/neuter agency and she is getting an appt and a voucher for discount. Just waiting to hear after appt is set

Hey Gang! A wee busier round the ole Training Table today....snow, rain, wind and pollen will do that I guess?

It wasn't a suicide mission Cath, and in fact I was down in the bilge of a boat all day. Contorting, slithering, wiggling and otherwise squeezing between stuff to do stuff.

And I did enjoy a pack of crackers for lunch......for the most part I'm a (1) meal a day kinda person. Breakfast and lunch during the season is just a grab n go usually sitting on the front seat. Watch your fingers at dinner time though....typically starving for some reason?

Bass Pro Shop is basically Cabela's. We only had Bass Pro up here & that was a big deal, now we are getting some Cabela's as well.
Cabela's? Yeah....I think I stopped there and used their rest room once when we were traveling. Nothing at all against either of them places.....I just spend enough money through their catalogs ......and shutter to think what an in person visit would do to the world economy......STARTING WITH ME!

Doug

Yuck On waiting so long for the discount voucher. I don’t know what the cost is there but but I here it’s pretty expensive.

It has been a beautiful day today in spite of the green haze on everything. I would really like to get my car washed, but what’s the point right now?

That supper sounds like a Pennsylvania Dutch area staple. I guess I could count for Pennsylvania or southern New Jersey.

The reply to Doug was started earlier in the day, and I forgot to hit send. I guess that’s a common problem here. 😂

Yeah, Jen was born n bred on the other side of the river, so She brings some 'stuff' to the table.......I'm allowed to pass as I see fit since I'm a 'Low Lander'. :ROFLMAO:

Pollen hasn't begun it's reign of terror down here yet, but it be a coming! We do have flowers popping up everywhere, and as Cath said, there'll be in for a rough time as we ALL KNOW WINTER AIN'T OVER YET!
Speaking of early......I do believe we're supposed to be changing clocks ALL READY come this Sunday?

Whelp we succeeded in defeating all 7 original Harry Potter 'Hogwarts' games AND BOTH expansion packs we got for Christmas. In just over 2 months......THAT'S kept us busy....THAT saw a lot of 'Family time'.....laughing, giggling, BANTERING......sharing with Friends that have also been playing in Their homes. It's a 'deck building' game for them unfamiliar with this particular one.

Salads are being made as I type now.....I'm still full from hot dogs, but there's others gonna be chomping like a herd of rabid bunnies here shortly. 😁

Hack - Ha! I had forgotten that Jan was from the other side of the river, but what river?🤣
At least you know about Lebanon bologna and Utz potato chips. That right there is food of the gods.

You and your family sure do have a lot of fun playing games, and I love it!

We’ll see what happens with the weather. If southern Cal can have major snowstorms, then we can have a snowstorm late March or April. It has happened before.

Time for me to clean up the kitchen and clean up Sophie’s boxes and pads.

Make it a groovy evening everyone.
