Upon getting a wonderful response on my other thread i realized something ; some of these corals that were recommended for my tank need a low to moderate flow...but i think that i have to much flow, i am currently using a koralia nano in my 8 gallon.. is that to much?:help:

For such a small tank, it's gonna be hard to have different flow zones. I'm not sure if that's too much flow or not, it kinda depends on your rock work and the shape of the tank (is it rectangular, or octogon?). In general, I'd say that it wouldn't be too much flow, especially if you haven't noticed turbulence at the top or swirling of the sand at the bottom. Got any pics?

I agree, Thats about 30x turnover.......which is a good target point. I would think your right where your supposed to be. If you aim it a little more up, you will get more surface agitation and a little less blowing effect. If that helps any.

As long as you have a place to point it where its not right on anything you should be golden.
