Another possible way is a huge water change as opposed to touching any of your rock......which means syphoning out as much water as you can to leave the angle in too little water to escape in, and be netted....your rock and corals will be fine out of water for a short time....just a thought...I have done this in the past....

I did think of that but the problem would be he /she could still hide under the rocks and at that poit the fish would know somrthing is up.
So you dont think its steeling or nipp at algae?

I def wouldnt say attacking the corals. She chases other fish in the tank but its very short lived like maybe 5-10 seconds. Shes not relentless even then and that happens mostly because she sees me approaching the tank and thinks I'm going to feed them.
She was relentless on the doughnut coral it was almost nonstop all day.

With that being said, then we are back to your first post...how the heck to get her out of the tank....You posted the bottle trick....maybe cut the end of the bottle off big enough to let her get in it...with her favorite food and a fishing line tied to the bottle....with you watching...you may be able to get her in and then scoop her out....without the fish trip...thats my only other thought...

I guess I could try cutting the bottle bigger. The bag didnt work for me I tried for several hrs today. Rearranging the flow and placing it in different places but it kept closing up.

Update!
The starry blennie is driving me crazy. She has figured out that I have food in there so every time I put it in she comes strutting over plops inside the bottle has lunch and waits for me to kick her out. Meanwhile I'm on day two and the flame hasn't been anywhere near the bottle. I dont drink but if I did I would be drunk right now!!
