My Only Question Is How Do You Get The Glass Or Plastic To Mount To The Sides Of A 20 Gallon Tank

If you use glass baffles then you can use silicone. If you use acrylic then you can use lots of silicone. Silicone will not stick to acrylic but if you sandwich the acrlic between two beads of silicone you can keep the acrylic in place for a sump baffle.

The skimmer will fit into the first chamber, then you want a baffle right before the pump area also. I still have not found a good picture. I will keep looking

i guess i dont have a pic of the whole thing, dont know why...
but from left to right i have, bubble trap, fuge, skimmer, return chamber. you want the return pump in a seperate chamber from the skimmer, and the return in the last chamber, that way the water level only changes in that chamber, the rest stay the same level. the fuge i have is mainly to grow some macro algae to help with nitrates. there are better ways to do it, but it was done before i learned more. HTH

yep! On the right track. Just make sure to leave some room in that first chamber (drain line from display) for a skimmer.
