Glad I only have to remember how to count to 7. 😁

Good morning, and HAPPY SUNDAY!
Up at 5, to get Hack to work by 7a......THAT'S been a long week for him.

Coffee is up, and there's no breakfast yet for me......but as usual as of late we'll be stopping at Wawa for some grub for Him, and we'll see if I'm hungry yet by then.

Nothing slated for Jen and I yet, but it's early.
Peace and warm fuzzy thoughts,
Hack

Good mawnin’, Hack, and all of TRT!

Thanks for the coffee, Hack! I had never even occurred to me that Nate would be working seven days a week! That’s a long week, as you say. Good thing, he is young and excited about having his first job.

It is 38 and raining today! Yuck! With that in mind, I’m making oatmeat and Belgian waffles. Both of those items will have plenty of goodies to put on top or stir into your bowl.

Rick, I hope you’re having a good time with your daughter and soon to be son-in-law!

The musical yesterday afternoon was fantastic! The singers were outstanding, and the band was equally good. Oh, and set design and lighting was first class much of it takes place in the Asheville, North Carolina area and they represented bald mountains in great style. I would go again today, but it’s sold out.

I better get myself in gear to go to church.

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Good morning Cath! Sounds like the play was awesomeness......and yes, I've had 'experiences' where I've gotten right back in line to do it again, so I understand completely. (y)

Yeah, 6-7 day weeks get old in a hurry.....ESPECIALLY when you're just starting out. Technically they're 2 separate jobs, just working with the same guy. So today is DAY 6, but He'll be off tomorrow, and perhaps Tuesday with all 'inspections' going on.

It's THAT kind a morning round here where I think another cup of joe is in order......then breakfast will get my undivided attention. Hmmmmmmm........Pancakes with butter and sugar just tickled the ole grey matter?

Lollipops to All,

Good morning everybody,

The rain has stopped. It’s 54 do these right now but it rained most of the night. I woke up early like I always do. Having my Frappuccino instead of hot coffee today.
The high today should hit 60 . I have to run and pick up cat food sometime today. Seems like all my cat does is it. I also need to do a water change on my reef, see how I feel about doing that today. I already have the water made up.
Have a great day.

Working 6 or 7 day a week may be a lot for some people but not a lot for others. When you enjoy what you are doing it’s not like work at all and the money is alway an added benefit.

Wawa is a 'convenience store' chain up here in the Delaware Valley .....like a 711.
A car is high on all our lists Doug, but appears Hack has a steak dinner in his mind first. :ROFLMAO:

We just hit 41F here as well at 11:45a, heading to 44 and rain moving in this afternoon. Yeah, we have a week of so of 'seasonal weather' ahead round here finally.

Good afternoon, guys.

Our weather here today is miserable. At least it’s not raining right now. The temp hung around at 38 for a long time with a light mist. That’s cool enough that I think it should just drop a few degrees to give us some snow. At least it would be pretty.

I heard about the Wawa chain from a former coworker at the library who was from Atlantic City, and then I heard about it from folks that from the Philadelphia or Lebanon areas Pennsylvania. Folks rave about it! We have a chain here called QT that is similar. From what I see it’s a notch or two up from 7-Eleven, and they have great eats!

Thinking of which, I think I might make me some hot chocolate.

Afternoon all,
Back from a AM run to Mom’s place to assist Sis on going thru stuff and sorting into “keep/save for auction “fodder/ pitch/donate. Truck bed and the entire back seat area of the truck , filled with some bags o garbage and the last of the clothing to be donated . Always wish either /both of us can kick behind and get thru this stuff faster, but between my OFR back n bod, and Sis being able to give a bit of her weekend to do this stuff,, is what it is. The one good thing that is not a time crunch hanging over our heads is that we have a ballpark timeline of 4-5 more months to get the house ready to sell/ emptied , since that is the lawyers recommendation of the 7 months “after” to not have taxes being a chunk -taker’outer.

Been thinking real hard on changing pup Beau’s name to “Murphy “ ( a name in the back of my head for boy pups for a while ) Currently “no” and “Beau” sound a lot alike , and been saying “no” to this “energetic “ lil fella. 99% sure he will be “Murphy” from now on🤔👍🏼.

Murphy goes in for his first vet visit tomorrow ( tho the breeder had him and his 11 siblings in for initial vetting) and Max the long hair Doxie will tags along for a shot booster after 3 weeks for the first one.
Neither are used to/cool with , leashes and of the 7-8 harnesses here for Doxie dawgs, none fit fur bulky Max,, gonna be fun with a 18.8# pup ( that boy packs on the pounds) and 15# long dawg,,, having to hold ‘em and get into the vet office ,, 🤞🏻🙏🤞🏻🙏😬.
M
Trying to snow here,, mostly is in the air,, 36 degrees is not friendly when it hits the ground.

On to the day,

Hope everyone is having a great one!👍🏼

Jeff, can you put in a good days worth of work already. I hope you decide to sit down and contemplate what you’ve done. Of course getting up out of the chair after that’s a little bit tricky sometimes, or maybe most of the time.

What a great idea to change both to Murphy for a name for your new fluffy pup. No chance of getting Murphy and no mixed up.

Some friends of mine just adopted a female English setter from a rescue in the deep South. They claimed this dog is six years old but the new humans for this beautiful girl that she’s more like four years old. I would like to get more details about the dog. She’s already trained from her previous human. She knows sit and stay and other important words.

Ahhhh… the life of a cat. I forget what kind of cat you have. Maybe you need to post a photo of Her.

Oh boy, you sure have a challenge ahead of you. How long does her heat last. And what do you do with her while you’re at work?

I’m a little bit chilly today, so I made some vegetarian gumbo. Doug, you may have some to go along with your roast that would be good. It’s TRT food, it last forever, so it lasts forever. There’s plenty for everyone! Well, maybe not enough for Nate.😂

Make it a groovy evening, everyone!

Picked up I think kind of new Dr Pepper & Cream soda, not bad you taste both so a good mix.
then watch the Bills and bangle play.

Dr. P and Cream soda combined......I've died and gone to heaven! Or death as a coot, and misread what you meant to say?

Cath I don't deem Wawas as 'all that', but they are convenient.......If there's a corner without one on it round here, it's probably not technically a 'corner'. We have 7 in a 5 mile radius of us.......and the closer you get to one of them more pop up on the radar......they're worse than Covid!
But again yes, they are better than the old 711's.....they just never stayed up with the times and 'modernized'. Always strike me as dingy.

Nate does indeed have a voracious appetite..... assists well by relieving my anxieties over having to eat 'left overs'. 😁

'NO Beau' to Murphy...........as in 'Murphy's law'? OHHhhhhhh MY! :sneaky::eek:
But that does sound like an intelligent change. (y)

Peace and Chocolate covered insects to them that partake in such things,

She is approx week in, cycle can be 2-4 weeks. When I am at work JoJo is here and takes her out on leash fpr walks. Fortunately most of the males around here are fixed but always out under watchfull eye.
Hack I that thats what it was, seems like I saw reference to WaWa in convenience store marketing magazine we as a small store are "blessed with", Cath vaguely familiar with gumbo had it a few times, JoJo likes it as he has spent time in Louisiana. I am more of a ******* Irish Stew kinda guy, but I do love seafood, but I prefer mine as a main dish or side, Fish and chips, slmon, cod, halibut etc steak, shrimp/prawns or NE Clam chowder. Not a fan of paella or Coppino where there is everything out of the bilge thrown together.
Wow i came home from store and realized i forgot to replace my adult beverage :(

Hmmmm Dr Pepper ( choice if I have soda) and Cream Soda, that sounds intriguing. I remember as a younger lad a summer treat was an orange creamsicle in a glass of cream soda as a float

OH MAN.......THAT SUCKS!
Your reference to 'bilge stew' was hilarious!
I had been a clam fanatic till I went to work with the commercial clamming fleet.....yeah, no thanks!
But after a sudden epiphany with a cold beer in my hand one evening, I realized in the big picture that clams don't use a Mr. Bob to relieve themselves, and I do love my clams on the half shell......so bottoms up! (y)

@Doug1 , the old creamsicle had the most creamy vanilla ice cream. Than the prefect orange sherbet. Perfect match .
