Do the Blue Velvet Nudibranches eat anything other than flatworms?
Pretty much that is all they eat.I had a massive amount of flatworms and theve pretty much consumed a lot of them.Their lifespan is only supposed to be around 3 months and thats about how long Ive had them in there and they seem to be doing ok.

For real, that is a ten gallon.

yeah, the pom pom crabs are awesome!!!!they dont really do much but when tey're out, they're reall cool to watch.I just got a spiky sea cucumber too,to take care of the detritus and a yellow fiji leather that Ive got a perfect spot for and then I dont know what else I can put in there. My calcium consumption is already through the roof.I think im gonna get a elegance coral and that will be it.Ill just sit back and watch.(AND do water changes ;)

it looks likea finger leather, can ya post a picture closer up and when it is closed and open?
Yeah it looks just like my finger leather. Or at least what i have always CALLED a finger leather. Mine is SUPER moody though. If i as much as bump him he shrinks to about 1/4 his size and if i bump him twice he not only shrinks but he will stay that way for two days and shed. He was the first coral i ever bought(that didnt come with my original set up) though, and he has grown immensely.

Sweet tank!!

I do think it is a Finger leather coral ( Sinularia) there are sevearl variations of it, so not needing a lot of light,it mainly feeds fromthe Zooanthellae but might take phytoplankton.
how is the light for it? it should grow pretty fast. dont be afraid to frag that bugger too. when they get pissy they will shed the outer layer and stay shrunk like what bill was saying. that can actaully last a for weeks.
