I have a 125g with a 20g sump and around 100 lbs of LS and around 150 lbs of LR its been running for around 1 1/2 to 2 months
my PH is 8.2
Ammonia is 0
Nitrite is 0
but nitrate is 10 ppm (im wondering if this due to the bio-balls still being in the sump and causing my brown alge)?
does this sound like a cycled tank?

these readings are after 2 testings both the same. could the 10 ppm on the nitrate could be comming from my bio-balls still being in the sump?

Sure. But a nitrate reading of 10 ppm isn't unusual or unexpected in a newly cycled tank, bioballs present or not. :)
