I have a 7 year old purple tang that suddenly stopped eating. I have tried several foods including live brine & garlic additives but to no avail. Can anyone tell me if they might know what is causing this?

Check skimmer.

Just check everything, how is his color, is he breathing normal, how are the rest of the tank inhabitants, water parameters, temperature...hopefully he will start eating again real soon
