so far in the a little over a week i have had this yellow tang he is very " to his roots" he will not eat flakes(didnt think he would, but i tried since i feed the damsels that) i have green marine alage strips i feed him on a clip everyday.........and actually 1 of the 2 damsels eat it too.........but is that enough.......he is very healthy looking, active, and colorful.............he of coarse pecks at the rock too

Make sure the alge srtips you feed it have the proper supliments to keep it heathly.

also try to get the tang on some meaty foods a few times a week such as mysid shrimp that u can buy in individual servings and is frozen.

Soaking the nori/seaweed in some garlic for a few minutes prior to feeding, will help make it much more appealing to the tang. Give that a try for a while.

my yellow tang tries to eat the nori before i even push the clip all the way daown the glass.............he is a big.........oh the politically correct is a healthy boy
