Good mawnin’, TRT!

Sunday coffee is up! Let’s have another huge breakfast today…. we have to celebrate a new puppy in our midst.

First off, we have some huge fresh blueberry muffins to tantalize Rick. Next is scrambled eggs with cheese, the best, cowboy potatoes you’ve ever had, I’ll mystery meat by you guys,, English muffins, ready to toast. I love them super crunchy, but you can toss them anywhere you like. On the side are goodies like cream cheese, peach marmalade, Baked aplles and nanners, too.

Today is basketball Sunday at our church, and it’s a good time. Our preacher will be the man who is the youth Director. He has adorable, female service dog. Of course, she icomes to church with the youth director.

Jeff, we are so excited we can hardly stand it. We want to meet Nash but I’ll give you a break this morning because I’m sure you’re feeding the troops. But come as soon as you can and post lots of photos and tell us how Nash did through the night.

Crazy Dawg Dad reporting in 👍🏼
First off , Nash ( other than slight bellyaching when I crated him last night , and I did not go straight to bed but watched a lil more tv , so I would be in sight for him for a bit) was 100% silent overnight 👍🏼👍🏼.
I’d say “it’s a GSD thing”,,,, but a puppy is a puppy and Nash of course will do puppy things,,.
Of course pics below.
I tell people he is :
100% housebroken
Barks in 3 languages
Saved a baby from a burning car on the ride home
Reads to sick dogs at the vet’s,,,,,,

Ok, it might be 2 languages,, I’m not up on barking linguistics, heheh.

Seriously , he has been SUPER great so far, he morphed into the pack nicely IMO, totally comfy being here and getting the lay of the land like a trooper.
Always said a GSD puppy is a smart sponge,, humans just have to work with it correctly .

Of course I will probably take Nash up to my sis’s for meet n greet/ show off’n at some point today.

Dunno what the day has lined up for me, but safe to say it will have “Nash” stuff on 98% the list.

And the breeder said he has “lion feet”,, he plods his front legs down when walking , a lil extra body action. He already looks cool in motion .

Plus, not even 24 hrs here yet, but he started playing with Murphy the older/bigger pup( and both are soaked from the snow/wet grass🥴) AND learned to use the Doxie ramp on the back deck both up and down with ease ( stairs can come later), a little better having the ramp already in place since young pups, GSDs in particular, don’t have skeletal joints closed/joined early on,, too much activity /strain is hard on those aspects for later on

Jeff - Your doggie dad assessment of Nash being cute is 100% spot on! What do you mean about the caption about a cat in one of the photos. I’m scratching my head on that. Looking forward to hearing what your sis says about Nash.

Doug, I am with Rick and the pictures of your snow. I’m sure you are very tired of it, but it’s beautiful.
