ok, i got this monster size sump, and i am curious as to the placement of some of the required pieces of equipment. its the 2 external 1.5" ports on the sump side that have me wondering what or how i am suppose to connect up to that. and the baffled high flow section has a 2.25" port, what size pump does that use???? any insight on the proper setup, or what ca reactor and external pump would hook up nice and easy would be greatly appreciated!

i am just guessing here. the 2.5" is almost definately the return. this will go to whatever haus of a pump you have.

i think the other two ports are for a skimmer/chiller. a ca reactor does not use enough water to warrant 1.5" bulkheads. you can cap these off until needed later if you already have an insump skimmer.

looks like a great sump! lots of possibilities.

well, geoff, looks like you are right. from what i found out, this is made to mate up to a pm bullet style skimmer, and looks like a pm 4x24 calcium reactor might of good use as well! i'm going to have to look very hard for a good deal, either that, or i hope i win the lottery soon....:funny:
