While trying to plug everything back in I pluged in the new pump which wasn't ready yet and got some water on it. So the external pump got wet and now it is ready and I pluged it back in and it's putting electric current into the water, is it because it got wet and letting it dry out hopefully cures it?

so many plugs

what kind of pump is it? most pumps are sealed and anything electrical is encased in resin, so if it does get wet no biggie. did the plug get wet with SW? there could be salt on the cord and transmitting the current up through it. i would rinse and dry it with FW.

BE CAREFULL:eek:

everything is on gfi's and guess what it wasn't stray current it was all the little cuts on my fingers from the clamps. It sure did feel like a little bit of juice. amasingly the hand that didn't twist the clamps doesn't hurt a bit when I put it in the SW.

Nope just starting because I found the current. Its coming from one of the 6 ways touching the sound proofing in the stand which is held by stainless screws and the sump is slid against it. I knew I was right It felt like a 9v batt on your tongue. I can fix this tonight.

see ya
