Hi,
I am new to the hobby and have recently set up a 20 gallon l nano reef. This was the most fun and interesting thing I have done in a while.
That being said I talked to my wife and got the approval to do a 75 gallon reef tank. I am looking for any equipment suggestions or any advice I can get to help in the research stage of my project.
I'm excited to get started but also blessed with the patience to do it right.
Not afraid to DIY most anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to TRT!!!

I'm more of a person for stocking, not equipment, so what do you want to put in it?

That is a lot of fish for a 20. I would stick with around 4-5 of those. I would not do three wrasses together, especially in such a small tank as wrasses are known to fight. So pick your favorite wrasse. Then you could do:

? Wrasse
Flame Hawkfish
2 Purple Firetail
Banggai Cardinal
and some mixture of sps and lps and polyps

Also, the hawkfish may eat inverts, so if you want any, you would have to get rid of him or take the chance that he might make a meal out of them.
