Hi everyone, I've been wanting to see a time lapse photo gallery of some inverts coloring up after placement in the tank, and haven't found any for a squamosal clam. So here it is....I picked this little guy up at Petco of all places last week. From Thursday to today, here is his color change. I will be posting more pics as he gets even prettier!

Week 3....how pretty he is.... :banana:

The flash from my camera is making him look gold and green...if that's what a phone flash can do, imagine what he'd look like under more intense light~ I'm running a 4 bulb PC and a marineland LED...must...have...more light!!!!

I saw some at the local Petco but didn't get one. Now I may have to reconsider.

Thanks Mr. Fishy Man and SPJ! I've actually had surprisingly good luck with my local Petco. Got a really nice torch coral from them as well. It got BJD due to my own stupidity, but I cut off the offending heads and the two remaining ones are now doing great!
Watch me have jinxed myself by having said that...
