Good day everyone.........

I have a pair of false percula clowns.......they have been in my tank for about four months........

They are both starting to develop some black spots near their gills and side front fins.....small dots that look kind of like the coloration on their fins......It is some sort of pigment, not something attached that I can tell

They are acting fine, eating like the pigs they are and swimming just fine......If I could get them to slow down enough I would snap a pic......but no luck.....

The female seems to have a few more than the male, all other fish are fine......

If anyone has seen this before could you let me know ?

Thanks!!!

i havent seen it myself. but i have read very similar threads before, and everyone said it's normal maturation of the clowns. that through time some parts of the body turn to a darker black, particularly around the face. i also rememebr seeing pics that sound exactly like what you have described. hth
