I found something that look like this today, growing on the base of my frogspawn...

mine are small, vary small, have the same shape, but are transparent/white, you think they are sea squirts?

I have also started seeing a few pineapple sponges show up, along with a few white encrusting sponges...

I have not tried touching them, I was afraid I may squish them, I'll try it with a tooth pick tonight.

Its about this big, and that's how one of them look, there are about 6-10 of them...

well they are most likely tunicates, harmless filter feeders and they'll most likely die on their own

thanks, and I tried touching them, but they are so small I can't hold the looking glass and touch them at the same time apparently...
