Software for Aquariums

Currently I'm using ReefCon 2000 to track my tank but it can be rather quirky at times. I've thought about buying their ReefCon Pro but judging from my experience with their freeware version I just can't bring myself to do it.
I've used Excel which is OK but doesn't use reminders.

So is there a software program that Google don't know about?

What do people on this forum use?

Not familiar with that program, still putting pencil to paper. Where are you getting it, I would like to take a look at it?
I think you can get aqua notes lite from Neptune systems for free.
It's setup for running and programming their controllers but I think it has all the DB's and remonders built in.... Check it out...
you can try aquariumstar.com, it's on the web so there's no software to install. looks like the new kid on the block, but it's free (for now) hopefully it stays that way! :-D

sorry, i didn't want to bother anybody. this is really just a project, everything is free so i didn't consider it spam. i'm not trying to sell anyone anything. really, didn't mean to bother you
Start a new thread and give lots of details and information about it. Not one liners on ten year old threads.
Welcome to trt by the way since your not a spammer. :wavey:

Thanks. We're glad you understand.

you have 8 posts are they are nearly identical, we arent idiots, its nice that you developed a free software on the web, hopefully it works well for you, but its rather transparent when your digging up a bunch of threads from years ago that have software in the title and posting the same cut and pasted response.

if you want some feedback and some people to try it, why dont you talk to some people about it rather then act like a spam bot.

no, of course i don't think anyone here are idiots. and i meant to be obvious, not trying to sneak around at all. thank you for pointing out my transparency as i meant to be transparent--however i apologize if things came off as spam-y. please note that I only replied to posts where people asked specifically to be told about aquarium software. I didn't post unless the question was asked. My bad about not realizing how old some of the posts were though, didn't realize this would be an issue
It's not an issue and we appreciate the apology. You are more than welcome to start your own thread giving information on the site. That way it will be more fresh for those searching :D
Thanks. We're glad you understand.
tcamos, your 210 tank is a dream! I have some questions I'll post in that thread.

also, thanks everyone for being understanding. I'll post a second thread for the software, thanks for schooling me on proper etiquette! :help:
