I have recently set up a 75g tank with a 20g sump 50lbs of LR and 80lbs of live sand. I have twin 1500 gph power heads. I am considering purchasing a snowflake eel. I don't know much about them. I have read a little about them on Live Aquarias website. But I still have a couple of questions. First of all, do they need a wheel established tank? My tank is 1 month old. Second of all do they eat fish? I have 1 clownfish, 1 firefish, 1 cardinalfish, and a Yasha Goby. Finally, Is just a protein skimmer and an in sump refugium enough filtration or should I get a nitrate and phosphate reactor? I do weekly 5g water changes.
