do you know what kind of snail?

i have found that margarita snails do not like temperatures above 77. if not then make sure your ph is high enough. my snails do not like having the ph drop below 8 even in the mornings.

I always had a problem with turbo snails. Since I started getting what my lfs refers to as a mexican (actualy a margrita snail) I have had less of a problem losing snails. Although to go against what geoff said my water temp is 80 and I have had all of the same snail for the last 7 months.
