I have a 75 gallon reef tank that currently has only a fire fish. Im considering the next move on the tank, and I'm looking for a fish that is small 2-3 inches adult, active swimmer, and peaceful. Here's what I'm stuck on, I'd like there to be 4 or 5 of them. Many fish seem to become aggressive to same species. I've read that blue/green chromis would be good but tend to use aggression to establish hierarchy and you end up with 1 or two at the most. Any other suggestions?
maybe a Masked Goby, I have not had one yet, but they sound nice, also dart fish are good in a peaceful tank, and I have kept different kinds and they swim together.
I have a red scooter blenny that is about as peaceful as can be. I love to watch this fish. It can only move about an inch at a time but it really gets around. It can sit on virtually any surface, including vertical glass.
I love my chalk bass. Max out around 3", nice bright blue color, moves around the entire tank, and I paid less $15 bucks for mine. Not sure if they school or not.
Just read on live aquria they do well in groups if added all at once. I have never seen any aggressive behavior out of my chalk bass.
possibly anthias depending on your feeding, although a 75 would be pretty small for three of em. theyre super active though, and cool, the lyretail is pretty easy to keep
i like Tanaka's Pygmy Wrasse ,they are small and really active.
