Slow Tuesday

Holy mackerel. You guys are slow today. I figured I'd be last here. Anyway, hope everyone has a great day. I got a bunch of standard operating procedures to write today. A recent insurance company visit resulted in them want ing us to implement a whole bunch of unneccessary checks and paperwork. I get it, due dilligence and all, but this stuf is just rediculous.

Good mawnin’, Rick, and all of TRT!

Coffee is up, I noticed that Rick fixed it, but he forgot to tell us about it. 😂 we also have huge muffins, bagels of all kinds ( with everything bagels off by themselves so they don’t infect all the other ones), nanners, PB, and an assortment of jams and jellies.

Rick, that sounds like a perfectly awful task that was assigned to you. Good grief, you know your job and know what’s important come and then there are things that are Penny any. And you know the difference. Oh well enjoy a coffee break with a muffin.
I think I read somewhere that you may have snow sometime soon. Is that true?

Jeff, your description of how King helps Beau is fun to read. And all the other doggies are going to help when you get that new foster doxie. Let the fun begin! I look forward to your daily reports of your brood.

Perry, I’m so glad you found a good place to stay! How is work?

Welp, I found out yesterday that I was exposed to Covid on Saturday. So there’s a protocol I need to follow and I’ll do just that. I will go out and about and wear a mask and get tested if I show symptoms. Easy.

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Good morning Rick.....and NOW Cath, and too All deeming fit to drag their butts to the Training Table this morning......HAPPY TUESDAY!
Yeah, me guilty as charged as we'll......slept in till 7:30a  Love this vacation!

Coffee is HOT, and thanks to Cath, I'm thinking I got to go find some EVERYTHING bagels for myself round here.(y)
I've tried a couple/few times to write out 'S.O.P'......tedious....oh my goodness! At face value you can see where they may have merit for the new comer.....but you extrapolate THAT out to someone who truly hasn't a clue, and you wind up not accounting for THAT......there's danger ahead. 'Somethings' we assume, take for granted, 'goes without say', and BINGO! I have seen people do just that.....,read a card verbatim, and I'd have to stop them as they skipped past the obvious step and get dangerous. 😱 'FOOL PROOF' isn't possible!

Be safe, be cool, and be healthy Cath......good examples are always in fashion! (y)

Got another dr's appointment today, this one's for Jen again, and I have one tomorrow.....hit the 'important' ones during the year, and save the 'oh come on folks' ones for this time of the year.

Last one in grab the towels,
Hack

NEWS FLASH.......

Hack's off to his first gig! 😱

The only thing news worthy of this conversation is the speed of it happening.
The Sams are having their new home build, and evidently the contractor must have been talking to them this morning, and asked if Nate was available**.......a/ they must have heard of this last night or b/ got a call stupid early being asked.....since this all transpired before 8 this morning. Of course Hack jumped at the opportunity, and just got picked up by Mr. Sam.

In retrospect come to think of it, THAT was my first 'job' as well......I started working with a neighborhood contractor.

Nope, no real snow for us for the forseeable future Cath.

My son had a construction job as well with a friends father. Good for him to get out there and earn some calluses on his hands.

Mornin Vinny. I see you sneakin in while I type here.

Good morning Guys!
'Bring gloves' was all he was told......There's a huge chunk of the world that lives in THAT camp. I do not. I think Nate leans towards taking after his Mom in that aspect......Not always, but I do see him going for the gloves when manualocity rules the day. ("Yeah, I think I just invented that word.")
My hands would have never been in the running for the 'Palmolive dish soap ads'....folks standing around showing off their blisters, and I'd glance at my hands and see 3-rows of calluses running down my fingers onto my palms. Gloves do a good job keeping your hands warm though....UNLESS you work on the creek.

Mornin Doug.

As a desk jockey I lost all my good callouses Hack. As a sheet metal worker I had some thick ones where the metal would slide through my palm while I fed it through the rollers. Lost all that now but I do enough to keep them rough. I don't miss the skin on my knuckles splitting in the winter though.

HEY Doug! Yeah, them bagels did hit the spot.

Honestly Rick, especially during the winter months, my hands ain't what they use to be.....and Jen probably says 'Thank God!'. Must have felt like being caressed by Wally Gator. 😁

Perry, I’m so glad you found a good place to stay! How is work?
Aside for getting busted for texting (manufacturing environment so rules are a lot different) things are good. TRT will be before work or at lunch for a while.

Enjoy the day everyone.

Afternoon all,,
Still puppy being the core of my waking hours here , haha. “Formative “ years( more like until the first tree ring ) need to be set forth the right way, so “set in their ways” is not a in the tuckas pain in adult dawg period. Known/seen too many folks with dawgs that did not get the proper right/wrong learning’ when it counts,, having dogs that are “uncool” . Too many canines here to have one not “in line” With being proper adults .
Beau is still curious, acting like a pup( good/bad aspects ) King the GSD still holding the gig as activity counselor with playing and tiring out Beau when I’m on break , heheh.
Beau weighed in at 15# this morning ,, on his way to 60-80#.. Sis’s pup, his littermate sis weighed in at the same at her first vet visit this morning .

Overcast and sorta chilly. ,, and thebreeze makes for not that enjoyable outdoors , but most all chores in the weather have been knocked out already.

On to the rest of the day.,

Hope everyone is having a great one!👍🏼

Someone came home from their 1st day in the trenches with their 1st blisters on their feet......ankles.
So a quick trip to the drug store for bandages just the right size, and he'll more than likely live.

Left over 'left overs' for dinner...Ham Croquettes, and if there's any left, the dogs will love us forever. :ROFLMAO:

Got MY dr's visit tomorrow morning..,,,and Jen has another one in the afternoon....MAN there's gonna be a lot of dr's out there with new clubs on the course.

Peace and really cool thoughts,
Hack

Good afternoon everyone!

Hack - Wooohoooo! That is Super Duper good news about Nate getting his first job! He will learn a lot and will be able to carry those skills with him forever. He certainly has good work ethic examples from you and Jen!

Perry, that’s not so bad for being called down for texting. At least you know what the standard is now. It sounds like a great place to work. I hope you get good benefits, as well.

My niece that bakes bread, and lots of other things, uses everything seasoning on top of some of the bread she makes. While that’s not for me, it sure does look good and she has plenty of friends that love to eat her bread whether she uses that or not.

I bet Jeff is having a good time with his new pup Beau today. That dog is a real beauty, and he’s very lucky to be in the Junkzoo mansion/estate.

I’m currently listening to the book All Creatures Great And Small. I read the book years ago, but I wanted to listen to it to hear how the narrator deals with the many different regional accents in that part of England. They are spot on, and I can easily distinguish from one character in another by the way he adapts his voice.
