Hi guys my euro reef rs100 has been bringing up a lot of bubbles to my display lately, i read about putting floss on the clean water output tube, do i just rubberband it to the tube or what, im not sure.
Take a cup of warm/hot RO/DI water heated in the microwave and place the air intake into the cup and let it suck the water through the pump. Often times a little salt creep gets built up in there and it will increase the water flow/decrease the air flow and cause micro bubbles escaping first, then less skimmate later.
I have a new ER RS80 and had a lot of bubbles in the display tank too. We adjusted the air intake main Venturi feed tube (all the way open) and also adjusted the foam/water level tube. Finally got it where it doesn't do that anymore!
