I do not have a CLS, and it is not an option right now. I currently have a U tube overflow to my sump. I would like to get rid of that and get something new. Has anyone ever used or seen either of these in action?

The first one looks EXACTLY like a CPR and i have used them on several different systems......the cpr ones cost about $100.

Thats a sweet price assuming its not made out of 1/8" acrylic. It looks fine in the pic.........You just need a RELIABLE powerhead like a maxijet or similar to hook into the venturi on to maintain siphon........

I have an aqualifter pump...which I use now to suck out the air in my U tube...pretty sweet little device. So, I have a 125 gal tank...do you think 1 of these would be good since it says it goes up to 1200 GPH?

Thanks

Can it be drilled in place? I don't know enough about that and what would need to be done...I just got my tank up and running and don't really want to empty it out and start all over...not to mention it is built into the wall, so, I can't really move it anywhere.

Any suggestions on how to drill?

Thanks

I use the first one of the first link that you posted. Just be warned that the front overflow are is kinda large. All in all the thing works like a champ, just make sure and pick up an aqualifter pump to go with it.

Josh,
The first one is the guy I emailed, he said it was 1/8" acrylilc. FlyGuy said it is a good price assuming it is not made from 1/8" acrylic...

So.....FlyGuy, am I supposed to not buy it if it is 1/8" acrylic? Will it not last? What is the negative aspects of 1/8" acrylic??

Thanks all!
